About Me

Hi, I’m Robin, a system administrator from Germany 🇩🇪 with a deep passion for IT security and a strong love for Europe 🇪🇺 and its tech culture.

I enjoy exploring the edges of technology: programming, hacking, CTF challenges, malware research, and reverse engineering are what really drive me. My main focus, however, is threat actor-centric research: understanding adversary behavior, infrastructure, tooling, and long-term operational patterns rather than looking at isolated samples.

Over the years I’ve built and operated complex infrastructures, but today I’m especially fascinated by how real-world systems get abused, how campaigns evolve over time, and how defenders can turn that insight into practical detection and resilience.

This blog is the place to document my journey: hands-on experiments, reverse engineering notes, threat intelligence, and observations from the wild side of cybersecurity and a glimpse into my mind.

If you want to contact me send me a mail to contact@robin-dost.de or contact @Mr128Bit@infosec.exchange on Mastodon.
